WIRE-FEEDING MECHANISM

Wire-feeding mechanism including a housing containing rollers freely running around axles fitted at an angle and in cross to the fed electrode wire which is circumvened in a planetary manner by rollers in helical lines, the axles being mounted into a support-and-guiding unit and power transmitting units by devices for compressing the rollers to the electrode wire. The housing is spherical and the support-and-guiding unit of the rollers is shaped as one body consisting of a limiting cylindrical part and a hub where nest are provided for the axles of the rollers and each pressing device for the rollers includes one disc spring resting on steps made at both ends of each axle pressed to the axle of the rollers by a respective power transmitting unit.
