PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission device etc., capable of improving the transmission characteristic of a DMT signal even when a radio signal is multiplexed with the DMT signal.SOLUTION: An optical transmitter includes a DMT modulation unit which allocates an information signal to a SC and performs multi-level modulation of the information signal allocated for each SC to generate a DMT signal. The optical transmitter includes a mixer which shifts a radio signal carrier frequency not to overlap with the SC having the allocated information signal in the DMT signal, on the basis of a DMT signal probe result and input radio signal frequency information. Further, the optical transmitter includes a multiplexing unit which multiplexes the DMT signal received from the DMT modulation unit with a radio signal after the carrier frequency is shifted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
