PURPOSE:To improve ignition timing accuracy without increasing the size of a housing, by providing a notch in a core for ignition signal. CONSTITUTION:The upper part of a core 9 for ignition signal is exposed upward from a pickup coil 10 for ignition signal, and the exposed part has a notch 19 on the side facing a signal rotor 8 for ignition signal. When a projection 12 of the signal rotor 8 for ignition signal approaches nearmost to the core 9 for ignition signal, a gap is formed between the projection 12 and the notch 19. This improves ignition timing control accuracy without increasing the size of a housing. |
