PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and control method of the imaging device that allow a drive sound generating by intermittent driving to be curbed.SOLUTION: An imaging device is configured to calculate target positions P1, P2 and P3 where a focus adjustment lens is moved on the basis of an amount of operation of an operation member, change the target position (P1off, P2off, and P3off) on the basis of an operation time, repeatedly execute a control of moving the focus adjustment lens to the post-change target position, and, in this case, set a movement velocity of the focus adjustment lens so that the focus adjustment lens is moved to the target position at a scheduled time when a movement of the focus adjustment lens is started again.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
