PURPOSE:To obtain a stable output even by a light source which turns on at the commercial frequency by detecting part of light emitted by the light source by a photodetecting means, and transferring storage contents of a solid-state image picture elements synchronously with the detection signal of the photodetecting means. CONSTITUTION:The photodetection output of the photodetecting element 9 is supplied to a waveform shaping circuit 11 according to the on-off operation of the fluorescent lamp 2. The circuit 11 shapes the photodetection output into the pulse waveform of a logical signal ''1'' or ''0'', and the shaped signal is sent out to a driving circuit 6. The circuit 6 generates a driving pulse train signal according to the rising of the output of the circuit 11. Further, an image of a body 3 to be detected is formed by the rays of the fluorescent lamp 2 on the solid- state image pickup element 5 through an image forming lens 4, photodetection information obtained by the element 5 is transferred to a binary coding circuit 7 according to the driving pulse train signal from the circuit 6, and the binary- coded signal from the circuit 7 is sent out to an output circuit 8. |
