PURPOSE:To make a copying machine small-sized by forming a partitioning part for ventilation in a machine body cover. CONSTITUTION:A motor 9, a cross flow fan 10, and a fan case 11 are attached to a machine body side plate 8a, and a ventilating hole 18 through which air fed out from the case 11 passes is provided in the lower part of the side plate 8a. A machine body cover 16a has a ventilating frame 12a formed as one body, and a ventilating path 12, through which the ventilating frame 12a leads air flowed from the ventilating hole 18 in the state where the cover 16a is attached to the side plate 18a, is formed in the side part of a machine body 8. Flowed- in air is led into the machine body through a ventilating hole 19 provided in the upper part of the side plate 8a; and special members for the ventilating path are not required because partitioning parts are formed in corner parts and the space of the machine body cover and are used, and the space of the case 11 is narrowed to make the machine body small-sized and compact by arranging the case 11 in the direction of the rotation axis of the motor 9. |
