PURPOSE:To further heighten the temperature and pressure of sucked air, by providing a holding chamber in which the sucked air of already heightened temperature and pressure is held. CONSTITUTION:When the wall temperature of a cylinder and a piston is low, an electromagnetic clutch CL is engaged by a temperature sensor TC to apply the negative pressure of a vacuum pump 3 attached to an alternator 2, to a vacuum actuator VA to lower the degree of opening of a first throttle valve TV1. An engine sucks air of high pressure and temperature into the cylinder from a compressor MC through a passage BP. The sucked air of high temperature and pressure is efficiently and rapidly introduced into a holding section ST so that the temperature and pressure of the air are heightened further. |
