PURPOSE:To improve services by separately charging the fee for a telephone call to both incoming and originating subscribers by providing an originating-side exchange with a incoming charging call meter and then by recording the message rate of an incoming call to a specific subscriber. CONSTITUTION:As subscriber 21 dials a special number, switchboard 22 connects a circuit to charging trunk 26 via repeating circuit 25 and trunk 26 actuates information processor 28. Processor 28 transfers fixed data to center 31, which collates received data with registered data to verify a connection of a call and when the connection is accepted, the fixed data are sent to processor 28. Processor 28 transfers the called-subscriber's number to switchboard 32 to acquire incoming subscriber 35. Of the message rate of incoming charging, a message rate equivalent to a certain time that subscriber 35 has registered previously is recorded in incoming charging call meter 29 and a rate exceeding it is recorded in originating-subscriber's call meter 39. |
