PURPOSE:To promote and stabilize a mixing and combustion and make a short combustion flame as well as make a small combustion limiting plate by a method wherein the combustion flame formed at air holes of combustion cylinder is caused to have a horizontal flame at its lower part and a downward flame at its upper part. CONSTITUTION:Proportion of the lower air holes 5 and the upper air holes 5' of the combustion cylinder 6 is made such that the upper one is made rough and the lower one is made close, and also the air flow injected from the lower air holes 5 is made to circulate in a horizontal direction, and in turn the air flow injected from the upper air holes 5' is made weaker than that of the air flow 5 or made non-circulating flow and then injected from the horizontal direction to the downward direction. The air flow 12 from the upper air holes 5' of the combustion cylinder 6 is contacted with the upper end of the auxiliary combustion cylinder 11 and injected into the mixing chamber 7, injected from the air holes 5 to produce a volume less than the air flow rate supplied into the mixing chamber 7 and also is not made as disturbed flow in the mixing chamber 7.
