The invention relates to a travel direction indicator, in particular for a motor vehicle, with a transparent cap, a light element which bears the cap and which can be connected to a seat of a socket on the vehicle by locking or snapping in, also having a light bulb which is inserted into the light element. According to the invention, the travel direction indicator comprises a lamp carrier which is produced from electrically non-conductive material and is suitable for bearing the light bulb and for being accommodated in the interior of the light element, that the light element is equipped with first coupling means which are capable of cooperating with second coupling means of the lamp carrier in order to attach the lamp carrier itself on the light element, that the lamp carrier receives first electrical contacts for the light bulb which is provided with electrical lines and that the electrical lines, are provided with terminals which emerge from one end of the light element, and having means for attachment of the first contacts to the lamp carrier by locking in. |
