PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of debug by storing previously the tracing range of a program to be executed by a processor and designating the tracing range of the program. CONSTITUTION:A main memory 2 stores a program to be traced and an interruption processing program, and address registers 41 and 42 store the start and end addresses respectively for tracing of a program address. A processor 1 extracts suscessively the program instruction words stored in the memory 2 and executes them. Comparators 31 and 32 compare the program address executed by the processor 1 with the addresses stored in the registers 41 and 42. An interruption FF 5 is set and reset with the outputs of comparators 31 and 32. Then the tracing range of the program is designated by the output of the FF 5. |
