PURPOSE:To make possible forming of fiber reinforced plastics and piercing of a product of said material simultaneously at one process by piercing a blank sheet with a punch set on a top force, enlarging, compressing, cooling and hardening the reinforced fibers by pressurizing. CONSTITUTION:This material is composed of reinforced fibers 25 such as glass fibers and resin 26. A heated blank sheet 24 is put into the top and the bottom force 7, 8 after opening them. The punch 21 set on the top force 7 lowers with the drop of the slide 1, pierces the blank sheet and the glass fibers 25 in the blank sheet 24 are enlarged. When the slide 1 lowers further down to the neighborhood of the bottom dead center, the reinforced fibers 25 are driven completely into the circumference of the punch 21, but on the contrary the resin 26 is filled by compression into all parts of the reinforced fibers 25 and then cooled and hardened. |
