PURPOSE:To provide a curtain effect against raindrops, and to blow off raindrops, dust or the like adhered to a windshield, by ejecting high pressure air from a nozzle directly or via a diffusing and reflecting plate to the front surface of the windshield. CONSTITUTION:A high pressure air stream is ejected from an air nozzle 1 to impinge against or flow on the windshield 2 directly so that an air curtain is formed in front of the windshield 2 and raindrops are blown off. Alternatively, a diffusing and reflecting plate 3 of an air leading type is provided, and part of the high pressure air is allowed to impinge thereon to be reflected and diffused and is allowed to impinge against the wiping surface of the windshield. Further if the high pressure air stream is heated, the fog on the windshield 2 can be wiped off. Therefore, if it is raining violently a clear view can be secured. |
