PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device capable of freely adjusting the dimensions of a punch in accordance with the diameter of a pipe by making a pair of movable semicylindrical punches, attached pivotally to a semicylindrical fixed punch attached to the bottom of a plate-shaped beam, turnable by driving cylinders. CONSTITUTION:A semicylindrical fixed punch 5 is attached, by facing its circular arcuate pressing surface downward, to the lower end of a plate-shaped beam 4 of a punching device for U-press; and a pair of movable semi-cylindrical punches 6 are pivotally attached to both sides of the punch 5 in its radial direction with the aids of attaching pins 7 so that their circular arcuate pressing surfaces face outsides respectively; and further, the punches 6 are made turnable by driving cylinders 8 provided respectively to the spaces between the upper ends of the punches 6 and the beam 4, and plural attaching pieces 5' provided to the punch 5 and plural grooves 6' provided to the punches 6 are made to engage with each other. In this way, the productivity of the punching device is improved by adjusting freely the dimensions of the punches in accordance with the diameter of a pipe to be manufactured. |
