A pattern input method for a payment terminal according to the present invention, which is performed by a payment terminal having a card reader and communicating with a server for processing payment, comprises: storing pattern input interface information corresponding to at least one card information; determining whether a card interfaced through the card reader supports a pattern input by checking the card information of the card; and checking the pattern input interface information corresponding to the card information and outputting a screen corresponding to the checked pattern input interface information when the card supports the pattern input. The pattern input method for a payment terminal according to the present invention can prevent the leakage of a PIN number. |
