PURPOSE:To provide a thermal copying device short in rise time of temperature and low in danger probability by using a thin flexible film comprising an infrared ray absorbing substance on the back side of a transfer sheet. CONSTITUTION:The thermal copying device is constituted of an outer frame 1, a reflector 2 moved within the frame 1, a light source 3, the thin flexible film 4 comprising an infrared ray absorbing substance which film is provided at an upper part of the frame 1, a pressure plate 6, a pressure member 7, a receiving sheet 8 and the transfer sheet. Accordingly, a copying material is irradiated with light containing infrared rays from below the flexible film comprising the infrared ray absorbing substance, rise time of temperature is short, and it suffices to turn ON a power source only at the time of use. Therefore, the device is low in cost, and is low in danger probability. |
