PURPOSE:To enable blanking and raising of a plate body with one process by forming a cutting edge and a bending edge at the bottom end of a cylindrical punch, providing a die contrasting therewith and blanking and working the plate body. CONSTITUTION:A plate body 5 is set on a shearing die 12 and a bending die 13 and a pressing plate 8 is brought down to hold down the body 5. When the plate 8 is further moved downward, springs 16, 17 are compressed, forcing the cutting edge 2 of a punch 1 to cut the body 5. When the punch 1 is further moved downward, the edge piece of the body 5 is bent and drawn by a bending edge 3. A rising part is formed by the drawing and at the same time a hole is formed. Dies and equipment for one process are just required by such device, by which the reduction in the cost and forming time is attained. |
