PURPOSE:To contrive to reduce the cost of a printing head, by providing an abrasion-resistant synthetic resin film in a projected form at the peripheral edge of a surface faced to an ink ribbon. CONSTITUTION:When an electric current is passed to a solenoid 3, an armature 4 is attracted to a core 5, whereby a printing wire 2 is pushed out to press the ink ribbon 6 and a recording paper 7 against a platen 8, thereby printing. The wire 2 is guided by a wire guide 10, and the positional relationship of the two is highly accurate. The paper 7 is moved in a vertical direction, and recording is conducted thereon. The wire guide 10 is constituted of a flat main body 11 having no peripheral projection and consisting of a ceramic or a precious stone and the abrasion-resistant synthetic resin film 12 adhered to the peripheral edge of the surface of the main body 11 which surface is faced to the ribbon. Accordingly, since the ink ribbon is moved while making contact with the film 12, the ribbon and the wire are prevented from being damaged, and since it is unnecessary to machine the main body 11 into a recessed shape, the wire guide can be produced at low cost. |
