<p>PURPOSE:To obtain fine carbon black, by putting waste materials, e.g. automotive old tires or rubber products, into a dry distillation vessel, generating combustion gases, feeding the resultant combustion gases to the second activated carbon chamber to absorb bad smells, and burning the good gases further in a combustor burner. CONSTITUTION:Old tires, or rubber products, etc. are put from a charging inlet 2 into a dry distillation vessel 1, and combustion gases are generated by a combustor 4. The resultant gases are then passed through a pipe 5 and fed to an activated carbon chamber 6 to absorb bad smells. Good gases are then fed to a combustor burner 9 and burned to give the aimed carbon black.</p> |
