PURPOSE:The titled composition that contains a specific high-density polyethylene, a crystalline polypropylene, an ethylene-olefin copolymer rubber and mica, thus showing good draw-down properties and being suitable for use in large-size blow molding. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of (A) 50-90wt% of a high-density polyethylene with a melt index of less than 0.1g/10min, (B) 10- 50wt% of a crystalline polypropylene with a melt index of less than 1g/10min, (C) 5-10wt% of an ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer rubber and (D) 10-30wt% of mica. EFFECT:The resultant composition gives moldings excellent in thermal deformation, surface hardness and toughness. USE:Bumper, car interior and exterior parts, heat collectors for solar energy water boilers, pallets. |
