PURPOSE:To reduce the region of a memory area for storing deformation correcting data and to make it possible to use even ROM slow in an access time, by storing the correction amount corresponding to plural sets of printing patterns of droplets extracted from a series of droplet groups containing previous and succeeding liquid droplets in ROM. CONSTITUTION:Printing data sent as the dot information of a matrix are successively inputted to a shift register 1 and, when succeeding first and second droplets are set to K1, K2 and preceeding 1-5 droplets are set to S1-S5, K1 and K2 are allotted to Q1 and Q2 of the shift register 1 while S1-S5 are allotted to Q3-Q7 thereof. A set characterized by the printing pattern of an extracted droplet is divided into eight sets and each correction amount and each reference charge amount are added eight times. These eight sets are set to C0-C7 and respectively added in addition phases phi0-phi7 while phi0-phi7 are fabricated by adding outputs Q0, Q1, Q2 of an address counter to a decoder 4. Becuase thus added result is latched by a latch circuit 12 and outputted as a charge code while corrected, an address area can be reduced and even ROM slow in an access time can be used because the number of addition times can be reduced. |
