The collapsible saw accommodates the blade completely in the folded position, while in the working position the blade forms part of the frame. The top part of the frame is a slotted bar into which the blade folds, fitting at one end in another frame member which also forms the handle, and clear of the top of the handle portion. - A tension mechanism between the top end of the frame member and the rod pulls the blade taut between the further ends of the rod and frame member. |
