PURPOSE:To obtain a dimming lens having excellent dimming performance, and resistance to scratching, solvent, light and impact by incorporating silver halide in a coating compsn. contg. hydroxide of a silicon compd., epoxy compd. and curing catalyst. CONSTITUTION:A titled lens is formed by incorporating silver halide in a coating compsn. contg. the hydroxide of a silicon compd. expressed by the general formula, epoxy compd. and epoxy curing catalyst. In the formula, R<1> is vinyl, amino, imino, epoxy, methacryloxy, phenyl, SH group, R<2> is hydrogen, hydrocarbon group of 1-6 carbon atoms, vinyl group, R<3> is a hydrocarbon group of 1- 5 carbon atoms, alkoxy alkyl group, acyl group of 1-4 carbon atoms, (a) is 0.1, 2, (b) is 0, 1 and a+b<=2. |
