PURPOSE:To prevent defective recording during copying by making always a signal of a master tape desired to be compared coincident with a signal of a copied slave tape desired to be compared on a time axis and conducting comparison by extracted signals of the both by means of sampling or pulse values. CONSTITUTION:A program signal reproduced from a reproducing head 11a by the running of a master tape is applied to an amplifier 1a', a monitor signal recorded on a prescribed track of the master tape is reproduced by a reproducing head 11b' and amplified via a reproducing amplifier 1b', waveform-shaped at a Schmitt circuit 20, converted into a signal of pulse waveform at a monostable multivibrator circuit 22, the program signal reproduced from the reproducing head 11a is sampled by a sampling circuit 23 and its pulse voltage value is stored in delay circuit 24. This shift memory corrects the time deviation component due to wow and flutter of the tape of the slave recorder by being provided with a capacity sufficiently catching a time (t) until the slave reproducing signal is reproduced. |
