PURPOSE:The human lymphocyte cells cultivated in the presence of human IgE is subjected to cell fusion with human lymphocyte tumor cells to produce the hybridoma producing the IgE production control factor. CONSTITUTION:After human lymphocyte cells such as peripheral lymphocytes are cultured for about 5 days, human IgE or a combination thereof with interferon is added, then they are cultured for about 2 or 3 days to form FcepsilonR(+)T cells. Then, the MEM culture medium containing a fusion-accelerating agent such as polyethylene glycol of 1,000-6,000 molecular weight on the average is used to cultivate human lymphocyte tumor cells such as human T lymphocyte cells with a marker of 8-azaguanine resistance and human T lymphocyte cells in about 1-10 times amount of the tumor cells for cell fusion. Then, the product is cultured in the HAT medium for about 4-6 days to effect the selective proliferation of the desired hybridoma, which is then collected.
