PURPOSE:To enable the utilization of battery to its lowest practical capacity and to enable necessary operation with a small capacity storage battery, by resetting CPU itself by stopping a timer limit signal when normal driving becomes impossible by the voltage drop of the battery. CONSTITUTION:A central processing unit 6 has a reset terminal 6v to which a reset signal is applied and a signal terminal 6S generating a timer reset signal during normal operation and driven by the rectified DC current of an AC power source 1 and the parallel power source of a power failure compensating battery 7. A timer circuit 18 is set to time constant longer than the cycle of a timer reset signal and has a condenser 20 repeating charging and discharging by the timer reset signal. An operation circuit 19 is equipped with an operation coil 32a operated when the condenser 20 is charged to definite voltage or more, a release coil 32b connected to a manual switch 33 in series and a latching relay 32 having the reset contact 32c of the apparatus 6 and the start contact 32d of the circuit 18, and the operation voltages of the circuits 18, 19 are made lower than the operation enable limit voltage of the unit 6. |
