PURPOSE:To strip the metallic layer in the exposed part together with a photosensitive layer and a metal surface treating layer from a base and to obtain a positive-positive metallic image by providing the metal surface treating layer on the metallic layer and providing the photosensitive layer thereon thereby improving the adhesion in the exposed part. CONSTITUTION:A metallic layer 2 is formed to 210-1,000mum on a base 1 of polyethylene terephthalate, etc. by using a method for vapor depositing a metal such as aluminum thereon. A metal surface treating layer 3 consisting of a resin such as a vinyl chloride/vinyl acetate/maleic anhydride terpolymer, polyester resin, etc. having good adhesion to the metallic layer or a silane coupling agent such as n-beta (aminoethyl) r-aminopropyl methyl dimetoxysilane, etc. or the mixture composed thereof is provided on said layer, and a photosensitive layer 4 contg. a polymerizable ethylenic unsatd. compd. is provided thereon. If such image forming material is exposed, the photosensitive layer is stripped together with said layers 2, 3 from the exposed part. |
