PURPOSE:To contrive the miniaturization and light weight and the improvement of containability and portability by a method wherein a solar battery element arranged on a plastic film substrate and lead wires connected to electrode parts provided on both surfaces thereof are packaged so as to be covered with a thin plastic film from both surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A solar battery element 20 is arranged on a vinyl chloride film substrate 10. A back surface electrode layer 23 made of Ag and Al paste is formed over the end surface of said element 20 in the side abutting against said substrate 10. The soldered lead wires 31c and 31d are provided at a part of said electrode layer 23. On the other hand, a reflectionless coating layer 22 is provided on the end surface of the photo receiving surface side of said element 20, and, at a part thereof, a window formed in a comb shape is provided with electrodes 21a and 21b. The lead wire 31a is connected to the electrode 21a by soldering, and the lead 31b to the electrode 21b. The transparent plastic film 40 is so formed as to wrap said element and a part of the lead wires. |
