PURPOSE:To prevent a hub from turning because of contact between an elastic member and a seal member by inserting an elastic member to a hub hole, providing the elastic member projectingly from the surface of a cassette half of a cassette tape and sealing the cassette halve by a seal member. CONSTITUTION:The rod shaped elastic member 4 made of a foamed synthetic resin or the like is inserted to a hub hole 5 and cut off so that the length t1 of the elastic member is t1>T in comparison with the thickness T of the cassette half. A maximum outer size (d) of the elastic member 4 is set as D<d in comparison with the inner diameter D between projections of the hub 1, the hub 1 and the elastic member 4 are engaged and the elastic member 4 is not fallen down. The cassette halves are sealed by the film form seal member 6. The elastic member 4 projected from the cassette half surface is pressed by the tension of the seal member 6, the thickness is almost equal to the surface thickness T of the cassette half, the elastic member 4 and the seal member 6 are in press contact state, the elastic member 4 absorbs vibration even if a tape 2 and a hub 3 are vibrated so as to prevent the turning of the hub.
