PURPOSE:To prevent an unforeseen accident from occurring by a method wherein the issue of an alarm, shut-off main gas, and exhaustion of leaked gas are performed simultaneously with the sensing of gas leakage and furthermore even the shut-off of main gas is performed when earthquake occurs. CONSTITUTION:When gas leakage occurs, a gas leakage sensing part 5 senses the leakage and the resultant signal is amplified at a sensation amplifying part 3 and sent to an alarm part 4. Simultaneously the sensing amplifier 3 flows D.C. across the coil 7 of a closed type D.C. relay 8 so as to bring contacts 33' and 34' into contact with contacts 53 ad 53' by being attracted by the coil 7 in order to flow electric current to a ventilating fan 12, resulting in rotating the fan 12 for exhaustion of gas. In addition, if an earthquake sensing pendulum is rocked due to the occurrence of earthquake, the current flowing to an electromagnetic coil 27 is stopped, resulting in releasing an attractor 25 from an electromagnetic core 28 so as to close a main gas guide hole 20 by a closing ball 22. On the other hand, when a change-over lever 30 is turned by means of a handle 48 in a manual gas running mechanism, a lifter 29 is pulled up so as to let a ball push rod 23 to push the closing ball 22 on an inclined guide 21 in order to open the main gas guide hole 20. |
