PURPOSE:To obtain the dot printer capable of printing both straight letter and inclined letter, by a method wherein the arrangement of needle in a life is made possible to be inclined on a straight line by inclining the dot printer head assembled material to the carriage traveling parallel to the pattern. CONSTITUTION:The pivotting operation part 14 of extruded piece state is formed at the upper part of pivotting member 12 by stationarily attaching the pivotting member 12 having fan-shaped gear 11 to the case 6 of dot printer head 5. When printed by the straight form of a letter, it is printed by making the file arrangement of needles 7 cross at right angles to the longitudinal direction of platen. When the form of letter is inclined like italic letter, the dot printer head assembled material 5 is inclined by holding the pivotting operation part 14, and the holding member 17 is fixed to an optional poisition by engaging it to the teeth of fan-shaped gear 11. |
