The present invention relates to a synchronizer ring for a manual transmission and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein the synchronizer ring is lighter in weight than the conventional synchronizer ring and can thus reduce the cost for materials and production cost, yet have a satisfying durability. The present invention comprises the following: a mold preparation step, for preparing first and second injection molds which can be assembled and disassembled in a diverging or converging manner and whose inside is shaped in the shape of a synchronizer ring; an injection step, for injecting a liquid polymer thermoplastic resin charged inside an injector into the first and second injection molds prepared in the mold preparation step; a pressure maintenance step, for applying pressure inside the first and second molds, after the injection step in which the polymer thermoplastic resin is injected into the first and second molds; a freezing step, for freezing the first and second molds in the pressure maintenance step to solidify the liquid polymer thermoplastic resin into a synchronizer ring; and a release step, for separating the first and second molds to release the solidified synchronizer ring from the first and second molds. |
