The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display (LCD) device, and more particularly, to an LCD device including a cover glass and a modularization method thereof. According to the feature of the present invention, the cover glass is formed to have a horizontal surface and a sidewall vertical to an edge of the horizontal surface, so that a liquid crystal panel and a backlight unit are integrally modularized through the cover glass and a cover bottom, thus an existing guide panel equipped to cover an edge of the back light unit and the liquid crystal panel is removable, thereby providing the LCD device having a light weight, a thin structure and a narrow bezel. In addition, even if a bleed phenomenon of a bonding resin occurs in a process of bonding the cover glass onto a front side of the liquid crystal panel, a defect on thickness of the LCD device caused by the bleed phenomenon is restricted, and stain due to a brightness difference of an image is prevented. Further, a process for washing the bonding resin due to the bleed phenomenon is simplified, so that process time is shortened and process costs are reduced, accordingly, process efficiency is improved. |
