SUPERVISING SYSTEM OF DATA HIGHWAY IN EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To supervise a failure of the data highway in an equipment at any time without exerting effect on a channel by inserting a supervising signal to a specific time slot not affecting a time slot for communication and extracting and checking this supervising signal. CONSTITUTION:A digital terminal common circuit DTCO supervises a failure of data highway IHOO in an equipment by transmitting a supervising signal (p) to a digital terminal DTO by a time slot TSO of the data highway IHOO (d,u) in an outgoing equipment and by checking the returned supervising signal (p) from the time slot TSO of data highway IHOOu in an incoming equipment by the digital terminal DTO. Thus, the signal is supervised at any time without exerting any affect on the transmitted communication signal by the time slot in the data highway IHOO in equipment.
