PURPOSE:To prevent a partition wall from being abraded due to sliding contact thereof with a printing paper, by providing an abrasion-preventing body consisting of a metallic plate in proximity to a guide plate made of a synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The leading end of a receipt paper or the like is inserted between a paper-feeding roller 52 and a pinch roller 63, and a carrier-driving shaft is rotated. An electric current is passed to a solenoid plunger 31, and the rotating force of the driving shaft is transmitted to gears 28, 29. The passage of the electric current to the plunger 31 is intermittently effected, and the paper is fed between a platen 4 and a printing head 3 through a guide 7. Then, the head 3 is driven to print. In this case, the partition wall 48 can be prevented from being abraded, by the abrasion-preventing body 49 consisting of a metallic plate which is inserted to an upper surface part of the partition wall 48 from the back side of a lower guide plate 46 and is brought into sliding contact with both side edges of a printing paper, and the lower guide plate 46 can be reinforced by the body 49. |
