PURPOSE:To enhance the heat exchanging efficiency of a radiator for discharged gas from a blower, as well as to facilitate an assembling work of a radiator by using a spirally formed flexible hose in it. CONSTITUTION:The compressed fluid carrying heat which is forcibly fed into a gas stream pipe 4 from the discharge pipe 2 of a roots blower 1 is cooled and discharged from the pipe 4 to the outside after passing through a passage 16 between supporters 7 on the outside of a spirally formed flexible hose 8, while passing through a passage 17 in the center part of a gas stream pipe 4 on the inside of a spirally formed flexible hose 8, and exchanging heat between the flexible hose 8 which is cooled by water, while the fluid is passing through the passages 16 and 17 in a gas stream pipe 4. Because the flexible hose 8 is wound up in a spiral form, a stirring and mixing action is produced in the cold compressed gas, the heat echanging rate in the gas stream pipe 4 can be heightened. In addition, the flexible hose 8 is made of thin metallic plate having corrosion- resistant properties, so that the heat radiating efficiency of a radiator can be fully heightened. |
