This device for locking together a male endpiece 1 and a female endpiece 2 is of the type comprising a finger 3 carried by the male endpiece, received in an orifice 8 made in the female endpiece. According to the invention, a ball 9 forming a pushbutton is retained in this orifice and when the two endpieces are assembled, this ball is pushed into a position in which it projects with respect to the surface 2<a> of the female component. It is then sufficient for the user to press on the ball in order to press the locking finger into its housing and then to be able to disengage the endpieces axially.
