PURPOSE:To obtain a polyamide compsn. having excellent resistance to impact and fatigue from flexing, flexibility, low water absorptivity, etc., by melt-kneading a specified elastomer and a polyamide. CONSTITUTION:0.001-10mol% of an unsaturated acid such as maleic anhydride is graft-polymerized onto an elastomer, e.g. a polyolefin copolymer rubber having tensile modulus (ASTM-D-882) of 5,000kg/cm<2> or below. 0.5-3mol (per mol of the acid of the elastomer) of at least one member selected from among an aliph. amino acid, hexamethylene diammonium adipate and these low polymers is added to the unsaturated acid-grafted elastomer to obtain a modified elastomer. 3-100pts.wt. modified elastomer is added to 100pts.wt. polyamide. The mixture is melt-kneaded at 180-320 deg.C.
