PURPOSE:To increase the combustion efficiency of the fuel, save the fuel cost and reduce the quantity of nitrogen oxide generated by mixing appropriate quantities of water and air into the fuel. CONSTITUTION:To a liquid fuel such as heavy oil, or mechanical waste oil or the like are added water in a quantity of approximately 5-10% of the liquid fuel and air in a quantity of approximately 4-5% thereof, and they are agitated and emulsified. Thereafter, the mixture is burned by use of a burner. Accordingly, minute water drops are adsorbed to air bubbles, or maintain a minute state by being wrapped in the air bubbles. Hence, it is possible to increase the quantity of water added, and the temperature of flame is lowered and the quantity of thermal NOX generated is decreased in turn. Simultaneously, break of oil drops is sufficiently carried out, and hence combustion is carried out completely.
