<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate a cause to a fault such as loading of a foreign material by allowing the opening of a cover after a power switch is turned on and allowing the loading of a tape cassette from a window hole into a VTR main body. CONSTITUTION:When a power switch 24 is turned off while the VTR main body is not in use, no power is applied to a plunger 22, a lock member 18 is placed to a lock position by a tensile spring 21 and even when the cover 15 is depressed for opening externally in this state, since the end ridge 15a is pressed into contact with the lock member 18, the cover cannot be opened. When the power switch 24 is turned on while the VTR main body is in use, the plunger 22 is activated by a plunger drive circuit 25 and the lock member 18 is brought to the non-locked position against the tensile spring 21 by the drawing operation of an actuator 23. The locking by the lock member 18 is released in this state, the cover 15 is opened to load the tape cassette 13 from the window hole 14 and to fed it to the cassette holder 26.</p> |
