PURPOSE:To enable determination of bile acids in a short time with the sharp peaks produced in detection and to reduce errors by using the conjugated acidic amino acid body of a deoxychloric acid or chenodeoxychloric acid as an internal standard material. CONSTITUTION:The sample liquid added to the serum sample prepd. by pretreating a specified amt. of a conjugated acidic amino acid body of a deoxychloric acid or the like is injected by a sample injector and is mixed with an eluate. Bile acids are separated by a high-speed liquid chromatography in a column 6 for sepn. A reacting liquid contg. NAD+ is supplied from a reacting liquid tank 10 to the separated liquid discharged from the column and the liquid is conducted into an immobilizing oxygen column 7 packed therein with 3alpha-HSD, where respective bile acid components and the NAD+ are caused to react successively with each other, thereby forming a fluorescent material. The amt. of forming said material depends on the amt. of the bile acid contained in the sample liquid and therefore said amt. is detected by a fluorophotometer 8 and is recorded by a recorder 9. The peak of the included material, the peak by the internal standard material and the peak by the respective bile acids are recorded. |
