PURPOSE:To detect the spreading angle as well as the distributing angle of the bundle of fuel oil correctly by a method wherein a plurality of pressure detecting means, which are provided at the part of tip end side of a plate body, are provided so as to be located in the path of the fuel oil injected from the fuel injection valve. CONSTITUTION:The fuel injection valve 3 to be tested is mounted detachably to an upper lid 4-2. The plate bodies 7-12 of non-magnetic body are secured detachably to a base table 6. The surfaces of the parts of tip end sides of the plate bodies 7-12 are opposed to nozzles 5 and a plurality of pressure detectors 13 are attached to the tip end parts. The pressure detectors 13 can detect the spreading angle as well as the distributing angle of the bundle of the fuel oil injected from the fuel injection valve 3. Thus, the spreading angle and the distributing angle of the bundle of the fuel oil may be inspected correctly whether they are in the predetermined ranges therefor or not. |
