PURPOSE:To equalize a delay time of microwave in a total transmission and reception system by adopting a Chebyshev's characteristic for a microwave delay time characteristic so as to cancel the ripple of a characteristic curve in the transmission and the reception systems mutually. CONSTITUTION:The Chebyshev's characteristic is provided to the delay time characteristic from an input terminal B21 of a transmission system T to an antenna A in a wave having a frequency f1. That is, the Q of each resonance circuit of a delay equalizing device 21 is adjusted so that the synthesis between the delay time characteristic from a branching input terminal B1 of the branching device 1 to the antenna A and the delay time characteristic of the delay equalizer 21 has the said Chebyshev's characteristic including a prescribed ripple. The Chebyshev's characteristic having a ripple characteristic opposite to the said Chebyshev's characteristic is attained also for the reception system R through the same adjustment. Thus, both the ripples are cancelled in the transmission system and the reception system, and the delay time characteristic equallized in an excellent way over a broad band is obtained. |
