The invention relates to a process for producing a seal for a slit between two parts which are movable with respect to one another, such as, for example, doors, windows or the like and the frames and cases thereof, by injecting a sealing composition onto a solidification surface and subsequently hardening this composition, according to which process the sealing composition is forced from an injector, through an orifice 1 which provides the preferably tubular seal 4 with its final shape. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out this process with the aid of an orifice, with a built-in compressed air line 3 for introducing compressed air into the cavity 5 of the tubular sealing strip. <IMAGE>
