The protective tyre for cycles and mopeds contributes, by means of its internally mounted tyre, to the fact that the sensitive part of the tyre, namely the inner tube, is not damaged from the outside by sharp edges and pointed objects. There is no disadvantage when rolling in the travel range, the protective tyre is not seen or noticed and there is no need any longer to fear a hole in the inner tube. For installation no tool is necessary since the protective tyre is an open tyre which is held together with a rubber collar and is also intended to protect the inner tube. In order to make assembly easier, paraffin could be used for the rubber collar so that the rubber can more easily slip. The rubber collar consists of a piece of cycle inner tube which - if required - one can quickly replace oneself from an old inner tube.
