The gear concerned has two gear trains which are matched in terms of their speeds and lead from a common input shaft (2) via a gear branch to in each case one of two output shafts (30), which are arranged in parallel closely next to each other and on which there are output pinions (28) offset axially with respect to each other. The input shaft (2) is arranged coaxially within a hollow shaft (4). Both shafts (2, 4) act as torsion shafts and are connected to each other at their one end via a planetary gear (6). The other end of the input shaft (2) is provided with a gearwheel (8) on the input side. On the hollow shaft there are arranged rotationally fixed and axially one behind the other two pinions (24), which together with the hollow shaft form the gear branch and are respectively in drive connection with one of the output pinions of the output shafts. <IMAGE>
