Sliding block made of plastic, which is displaceable in a rail of C-shaped profile in the longitudinal direction of the latter and which presses resiliently against the inner faces of the C-shaped profile, especially for window lifters of motor vehicles, in which the rail is the carrier of a window pane and a window-lifting arm engages on a supporting bolt inserted through a central hole in the sliding block, characterised in that bails pressing resiliently against the transverse legs and the bottom of the C-shaped profile are formed onto the body of the sliding block.
