The invention relates to a projector consisting of a lens, a film trap, a light source and an electronic power pack by means of which the system voltage is transformed into the voltage for operating the lamp and/or other electrically operated units. It is the object of the invention to provide the possibility of adapting the projector to any conventional system voltage. The invention consists in that the input stage of the power pack is constructed as an exchangeable component, it being expedient to provide in the housing of the projector an opening for plugging in the housing of the input stage, and for the housing of the input stage to project a little from the housing of the projector or a part of the projector, so that said housing of the input stage can easily be grasped.
