Use of copolyamides composed of 10 to 40 % by weight of caprolactam, 20 to 60 % by weight of laurolactam, 20 to 60 % by weight of equimolar amounts of hexamethylenediamine and dimerised fatty acid having a content of more than 80 % by weight of dimeric fatty acid composed of monocarboxylic acids which have 12 to 22 carbon atoms, optionally mixed with monocarboxylic acids and trimeric carboxylic acids, for the heat-sealing of textiles. f
