Circuit arrangement for increasing the operational reliability during the exchange of information between control devices of telecommunication, particularly telephone, switching systems

The present circuit arrangement provides that a central control device is connected via at least two interfaces to the star point provided for the exchange of information. These interfaces are continuously in operation because they are alternately used in dependence on the address of the decentralised control device which has to be transmitting or receiving. In the case of a fault, the exchange of information is exclusively carried out via an undisturbed interface. It is furthermore provided that there are several central star points. In this arrangement, individual part-star points are formed which in each case have their own bus line for the exchange of information and have their own system bus control. Using majority decision logic arrangements, faults are found and in the event of a fault, the part-star point which is defective in each case, or parts thereof, are switched off.
